FEATURED ANIMALS: RING-A-DING
Ring-a-ding is a classic tortie colored short haired cat. She is 1.5
years old, spayed and up to date on all her shots. She was named
Ring-a-ding because of the perfect rings around her tail. She arrived at
the shelter in April of 2008 as a wee young girl very full with kittens.
She was such a sweet and loving cat, she would roll over and allow you
to rub her chubby tummy.
Even
though it was spring and kittens were arriving daily, Ring-a-ding was
spared and allowed to have her kittens. In a few weeks she gave birth to
5 little babies, she was a very attentive mom. All her babies are long
gone, but Ring-a-ding still waits. Nearly a year has passed and
Ring-a-ding still waits for a home with a family to love her. Some of
her favorite pastimes are:
1. The leg circle Walking around and around you until you notice she
needs a good petting.
2. Water sports, turn the bathroom faucet to a thin stream and let the
games begin.
3. Sun basking 101- Find a window with warm sunshine streaming in and
leave the rest up to her.
4. The power snuggle €“ With you or another cat friend, she especially
likes kittens.
5. The power nap comes after the power snuggle.
6. The hunt for red- Willing to chase a red pointer light right up a
wall.
